MIAMI CORRECTIONAL FACILITY Peru, Indiana Powers & Sons and our joint venture partner were the construction managers for this $160 million dollar project correctional facility built in Peru Indiana. The project was designed to be constructed in two phases. Phase I was completed in May 1999 and Phase II was completed in November 2001. This state-of- the-art facility houses up to 2500 inmates. |

EAST CHICAGO PUBLIC SAFETY East Chicago, Indiana General Construction Services were provided for this new 120,000 square foot state of the art Public Safety Facility for the City of East Chicago. The project included a 911 Service Facility, City Court House, 50 jail cells, EMS Service, Police Department and a gymnasium. |

INDIANA HISTORICAL SOCIETY Indianapolis, Indiana Powers & Sons provided general contracting services for the interior fit-out and finishes of this 35,000 square foot facility for the client. The building houses a museum, theater, library, and a restaurant. |

INDIANAPOLIS URBAN LEAGUE Indianapolis, Indiana Powers & Sons provided general contracting services for the construction of this new 35,000 square foot headquarters building for the Indianapolis Urban League. |

GARY YWCA Gary, Indiana General Contracting services were provided for this 30,000 square foot facility for the Young Women’s Christian Association. This newly facility offers a wide variety of services including a pool, fitness center, track, and basketball court. This project also included a large parking facility with underground water retention. |

NEW CASTLE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY New Castle, Indiana Powers & Sons provided General Contracting Services for this facility. The work included all perimeter fencing, site concrete, foundations for the sanitary lift station, and the pre-engineered buildings. Powers & Sons also demolished and rebuilt the power house, and renovated the service buildings, upgraded the underground utilities, renovated an existing bridge, rebuilt and reconfigured existing access roads on site. |
